York County is the home of Harley-Davidson; snack food giants Snyders, Martins & Utz; institutions of higher learning: York College of PA, Penn State York, Harrisburg Community College & Art Institute of York – Pennsylvania; two major hospitals: York & Memorial.
Adams County is the home of the Gettysburg National Park which generates a large tourism business; Gettysburg College; and a large orchard industry in the northern part of the county.
With 20 years of appraisal experience in this market area, preceded by 13 years in real estate sales, Joyce Murphy holds the MRA designation through Master Appraisers, has taken many courses by The Appraisal Institute, NAIFA, etc. and is current on all continuing education requirements.
